In addition to the overall ranking, the site was also recognized in the Top 10 in the category of industrial manufacturing.
The magazine considered more than 700 of the country’s top Web sites for the ranking and selected winners for 15 categories, ranging from agriculture and construction to healthcare and professional services. In each category, the top 10 to 15 sites were selected, based on a variety of criteria, including ease of navigation, presentation, quality of information, interactive resources, e-commerce capabilities and any other extra features that make the site unique. Out of a possible 35 points, Hartzell Propeller scored a leading 29.
Hartzell engaged David K. Burnap Electronic Marketing of Dayton, Ohio, to assist with the design, development and management of the site. It received special notice for its “excellent customer support and catalog materials,” showcasing the site’s focus on reaching target markets and on building customer relationships.
