PIQUA, Ohio — June 10, 1998 — Hartzell Propeller Inc. announced today that FAA approval has been received for installation of a new three-bladed Top Prop™ propeller system for the Rockwell/Gulfstream/Commander 112, 112A and 112B aircraft. The new system is a 75 inch, three-bladed, aluminum hub, constant speed system that is part of Hartzell’s proven and growing family of lightweight, compact propeller systems. The new prop is fully compatible with the popular “Hot Shot” turbo-intercooler conversion from RCM Normalizing Inc., of Big Piney, WY.

The new prop offers Hartzell’s longer TBO (2,400 hours/6 years) as well as the industry leading Plus Three™ warranty that covers parts for 3 years or 1,000 hours. The prop features Hartzell’s scimitar blade airfoil that will lower noise levels, provide a less restrictive tachometer placard, and generally improve the appearance of the aircraft. List price for the complete kit, which includes the prop, polished spinner and STC documentation, is $7,995.
