#HartzellHistory Contest for EAA AirVenture Begins Today

Date: July 1, 2014 Category: Blog, Oshkosh 2014

Less than 30 days remain until EAA Airventure Oshkosh kicks off. Today, we are proud to announce the beginning of our #HartzellHistory Trivia contest, where you can win access to Hartzell’s “flight deck” VIP area at Oshkosh 2014.

What can you tell me about the prize?

Oshkosh is one of our favorite events in all of aviation, and this year we wanted to make a BIG impact. We’re partnering with Hartzell Engine Technologies to bring an entire building to Oshkosh, complete with air conditioning and an upper area with great views of the air show and the convention. See for yourself, it is going to be incredible.

We will be using the deck for special meetings with our partners from around the aviation industry, but we are also opening it up to 30 VIP winners from our #HartzellHistory contest.

How can I win a spot on the “flight deck?”

Every day between July 1st and 30th at 1PM EST we will post a question on Twitter and Facebook asking you about a historic moment from Hartzell’s past. The first person to answer the daily question (from either channel) will win access. Our 30 lucky history buffs will be contacted by our contest team to get details on claiming their prize at Oshkosh.

Can I get a hint?

You may want to brush up on Hartzell Propeller history here, the winners of our last contest said it was “one of the best times he’d ever had.”

Here are the questions we have asked so far:

7/1: When did Hartzell receive certification for our next generation composite props (ASC-II)?
