The Vectren Dayton Air Show begins tomorrow. The yearly event brings the nostalgia of aviation history and the precision of modern aerobatics to our region, but the event is bittersweet for the Hartzell team. While we love everything about the Air Show, and have helped sponsor the event for many years, it also marks the end of our extended visit with expert aviator Sean D. Tucker.

Sean has been training for the show out at Hartzell Field, aka Propeller Town, USA, for the past week. Aviation enthusiasts know Sean as a living legend of precision aerobatics, but we are lucky to know him as a good friend. He was among the first pilots to fly Hartzell’s advanced composite aircraft propellers, and he has been a strong advocate of Hartzell for many years. Check below for videos of Sean’s prep for the Air Show and photos from his visit.

Hosting Sean and the rest of the Oracle team has been a pleasure, and we look forward to doing it again next year. If you are headed to the Dayton Air Show, you can see them perform on Saturday or Sunday. Click here for the event schedule.
